Paine,
Cyclist and Photographer.
I’m one of those crazy cyclists that loves cycling in the rain,
provided I’m in the right clothes and can keep warm, then theres
nothing I enjoy more. I get a kick out of people looking at me like
I need my bumps feeling. I have the luxury of having two bikes, a
mountain bike with mudguards and no suspension, that can be rode in
all weathers anywhere and a road bike that only comes out when the
sun shines. |

Shots is a photographic project about people who cycle and their
bikes. Whether they cycle to get to work, to break records (whether
world or personal) or to get from A to C while having time to look
at B.
The majority of the population has ridden a cycle at sometime in
their lives probably when they where young, however those of us
that still ride know that it is one of the best forms of transport
ever invented.
With the support of Sustrans this project aims to give those cyclists
a voice and allow them to communicate to ‘non cyclists’
the benefits of this healthy, environmentally friendly, and fun
pastime.
Anyone who cycles and would like to have their picture taken and
talk a little about why they love cycling please contact Ian Paine
via e-mail at ian-paine@ntlworld.com
or call 07967 625 936. Any organisations that would like to offer
their support can also contact the same e-mail or click here
to go to a more detailed breakdown of the project.
