Filming interview about Bells Palsy

Working with DJW films to record an interview about Bells Palsy. We had a great location but needed to control the light and sound, so I brought along everything I needed to get some great footage.

We decided to shoot with two cameras in order to get the interviewer's questions, as the set up was very laid back in order for it to be more conversational. Using a big LED flat panel with diffusion meant the light remained soft and flattering and a back light helped to seperate the subject from the background. Sound was captured using lav mics (in this case Sanken COS11, my go to lavs) plus an overhead to help capture the voice with a little bit of room tone (a Scheops MK41).
