Training

IPC offers training in all aspects of digital imaging whether to individuals, organisations or groups. Whatever you want to do with either video photography or other digital media IPC can help, with a tailor made training course designed specifically to meet your needs. IPC has worked with several groups to help them get their message over using the latest digital technology.

Please call to view a range of examples and to discuss how we can help you or your group build ideas into products.

Successful examples include ‘A Game of Chance’ a short film made by a group of 11-14 year olds about the effects of crime on different generations.

Also ‘Frans Story’ a short film made by ‘ArtnThat’ a group of young people from Middlesbrough who are leaving care, this film has recently been shown at the SAGE Gateshead. IPC helped run the groups and gave training in all aspects of video production allowing the young people to tell their story.

During the half term holiday this February IPC teamed up with local actor and drama coach Jack McBride to work with a group of young people to film 'The Last Page'. The group not only starred in the short film but also helped to crew it, taking on the tasks of camera, sound and lighting. The result was a DVD about bullying.

All members of the crew have the necessary ‘Enhanced Disclosure’ to work with children and vulnerable adults.

DV Camcorder Introduction
Many organisations know have access to DV production equipment, whether a simple DV camcorder or software capable of editing DV pictures. This short course aims to give an introduction to producing usable pictures from a DV camcorder. This introduction is designed for specific outcomes and is built around the organisations needs. To this end, this course utilises whatever equipment the organisation uses.
