Keeping Things Fresh

I really enjoy my job. If you'd told me as a kid that I'd get to work with cameras on a daily basis I would have been happy with that. But my job is more than that, I'm lucky that my work is varied and seems to be increasing in its weirdness. From filming a C-section, interviewing a Holocaust survivor, and talking physics with a world class cosmologist, I sometimes have no idea what the next shoot will bring.

I also enjoy the technical challenge, trying to get the best audio whilst interviewing on the North East’s windy coastline, to capturing the breaking egg of a hatching racing pigeon. To get the best shots needs a bit of planning and imagination but you also need good gear. That’s why I invest in the best kit from cameras, lighting, grip and audio equipment.
