I think I first filmed a Periplum show as part of The Stockton International Riverside Festival in 2015, when they were touring their show 451 (their take on the Bradbury novel Fahrenheit 451).

Since then I have had a chance to work with them on many shows such as Glass Ceiling, The Witching Hour, Raven’s Wake, The Bell, Twilight Hour and most recently 1000 Feet Deep. Their shows are always a thought provoking spectacle, and a challenge to film. Nearly always in the dark so the most can be made of the lighting and pyro effects and generally free flowing, the shows move from one performance area to the next, giving an audience the best view no matter where they stand.
